Brooke’s Story

In the tapestry of my life, I found purpose through challenges—my child's seizures as response of immune-bypassing medications, a tumultuous four years with chronic illness, and the quest for answers as to why pregnancy gave reason to avoid treatment. From these trials, The Art of Detox was born, a testament to the power of holistic regeneration and the unwavering belief in our body's innate design for healing.

During my formal education years, I unknowingly painted my canvas with intuition- excelling in anatomy, physiology, biology and children’s development but nothing ever felt quite the exact fit- until years later when the weaving of these studies paired with my experiences as a woman and a mother unraveled divinely into my life purpose: regenerative detoxification.

My journey into the world of detoxification began with the bewildering experience of my child's health struggles. After her reactions (many seizures, turning blue) to multiple vaccines were dismissed as 'breath-holding tantrums,' and she was diagnosed with multiple labels on the DSM-5 spectrum, I delved into holistic healing, starting with dietary changes due to markers for celiac disease. From eating a standard American diet, I removed dyes, gluten, and processed foods while incorporating numerous supplements, inclining in quality and chirpractic care over time. As we navigated through these challenges, my faith and commitment to detoxification deepened, as is the truth for many natural-minded mothers today.

Following a high-meat Brewer's Diet during pregnancy, I faced a challenging postpartum experience marked by a severely depleted endocrine system as result. My journey took an unexpected turn as I grappled with chronic Lyme disease, seeking answers from a multitude of practitioners- both functional and naturopathic- without success. My Lyme experience worsened after two years spent in financial turmoil from a series of oilfield lay-offs my husband was experiencing. It was during this tumultuous period of degeneration with nuerological and arthritic Lyme that I embarked on a remarkable path of self-healing. Incidentally, I fell pregnant with our third child in the state I was in at the time and, paired with the power of my body's own regenerative abilities, I achieved remission using the regenerative potential of my pregnant body, harnessing the gifts of God's Creation instead of pursuing the IV port if antibiotics that was recommended to me (and my baby). I ventured to self-heal because answers as to why pregnancy gave reason to avoid treatment concluded to me that treatment was harmful- and left me with little options and a desire to discover the most physiologically-compatible way for the body to heal itself without harmful natural treatments I was encouraged to avoid. My determination resulted in a brief, 17-week ‘remission’ journey and was fueled only by the transformative power of food, spirulina, and personal blends of 'pregnancy-safe' bulk herbs, all aimed at enhancing elimination pathways. This profound experience only heightened my curiosity and learning experiences with using food to instigate different metabolic experiences within the body during the various sensitive seasons of life. My passion was ignited for the transformative potential of natural healing, leading to the birth of The Art of Detox after my third birth experience."

Following my personal healing, I pursued local health coaching- starting with friends and family and eventually shifting into a donation-based exchange, and went on to certify privately with the International School of Detoxification. I graduated in the top 10% of my class as a self-study student because I couldn't afford to attend class in-person at the time and with three little ones underfoot. This education taught me about regeneration and detoxing using foods and validated my intuitive experience during pregnancy that had acheived my success!

I had went on to practice initially with high fruit, aggressive detox strategies and empower many women to heal the first year as a Regenerative Detox Specialist. What I learned throughout the years of 1:1 work with families was that they all tended to have the same patterns regardless of sex: their endocrine systems were dysregulated and their elimination pathways were congested- the symptoms simply varied based off their bio-individual organ and glandular weaknesses.

"In the tapestry of existence, our purpose is revealed through the intricate dance of life's events and the silent wisdom of the Spirit."

Nearly all had been on advanced elimination pathway protocols or herbal supplements prior to seeing me and all were using various therapies that ultimately, unbeknownst to them, influenced the strength of their weak organ and glandular systems. The awareness of endocrine and elimination degeneration resonated deeply as I pulled the pieces together from my prenatal remission experience. This regenerative combination then became the pillar for my approach to what I was now qualified to do as a Regenerative Detox Specialist.

My journey in holistic wellness led me to explore various strategies and therapies. However, a transformative, God-given awareness shifted my perspective from the realm of natural health to that of regenerative health. I realized that many supplements and therapies, while rooted in natural approaches, often acted as temporary solutions, merely stimulating or suppressing the body's innate design. This revelation became the cornerstone of my mission—to guide individuals towards true healing and regeneration, aligning with the body's inherent wisdom.

The Art of Detox and it’s programs aim to provide a powerful shift in awareness to empower women and our coming generations. The Art of Detox shares insights about the body's divine physiology and its harmonious connection with the simplicity of “Creation-based Cleansing.”

Through The Art of Detox, we integrate nature's potency with the body's innate detoxification process, creating a transformative experience for women and families seeking to purify their temple. My mission extends beyond individual well-being; it's about leaving a generational legacy of empowered holistic wellness, facilitating transformation through the art of regeneration.
